The Grand Rapids Parks & Recreation Department has established an Adopt-A-Park and Sponsorship Program that allows individuals, groups, and businesses to offer support and receive recognition in return.

The Adopt-A-Park Program provides individuals or organizations an opportunity to assist in the maintenance of City public spaces.

The Sponsorship Program provides an opportunity for donors to help finance a number of programs and services including among others:

• A Scholarship Program benefiting families demonstrating financial need
• Pools, Wading Pools, and Water Playgrounds
• Parks Landscaping and Beautification
• Youth Athletics
• Safety Equipment
• Ice Skating
• Adult Softball Leagues

Donors and sponsors of Department programs/facilities will be recognized in our quarterly brochure as well as by other means.
